One of kind Jacques Yesel Muiden mid-20th century needlepoint depicting a large leopard. Needlepoints are forms of counted threaded embroidery in which yarn is stitched through a stiff open weave canvas. This particular piece was woven by a famous Portugal carpetmaker named Jacques Yesel Muiden. He is infamous for weaving these back in the 1950s and 1960s. What makes this particular piece standout is the large leopard. Look at his eyes! Whoa! Great for a summer/vacation home.
