Mid 20th century moroccan small runner with the ever recurring archetypical checkerboard design made in this case from industrial yarns. The traces of wear create a kind of double layer between the cool blue / green / petrol shades of the pile + the weft shots shining through in contrasting colors. Found in Fkih Ben Salah, the main town of the Beni Amir region in the plains south-west of the city of Boujad, Morocco
